Apple Cake II

Cake:   high calorie and high protein booster included

King Arthur Flour Gluten Free Muffin Mix

Follow instructions on back of box but substitute Carnation Breakfast Essentials High Protein instead of milk

Add in:

Mix together to coat apples first:

½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 packets true lemon cyrstals
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted butter
4 apples cut into small pieces, use a variety of apple types

Bake in glass pan at 325° F for about 50 minutes. Insert knife in center to check for doneness.
