Skillet Sausage and Cabbage

1 16-ounce package smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 sweet red pepper, cut into strips
6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
1 cup white wine
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Saute sausage, onion and red pepper in large heavy skillet over medium heat until onion is soft. Add cabbage and cook, stirring often, 8 minutes. Add wine and seasonings, reduce heat to medium-low and cook 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Serve immediately. Makes about 4 servings.
