Oatmeal Chocolate Peanut Butter Drops

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cups gluten free flour
Chocolate chips and nuts (optional)

Cream together the first 6 ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful onto parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes.
