Chocolate Chip Cookies #2

2 1/4 cups gluten free flour
1 teaspoon xanthan gum
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract

2 eggs
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Sift flour, xanthan gum, baking soda, and salt in bowl and set aside.

Beat melted butter, sugars, vanilla, and almond extract until mixed. Beat in eggs and gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet leaving two inches between cookies. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
