Mincemeat Bars

3 1/2 cups all purpose flour - box “Gluten-Free Pantry”
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups butter
1 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
2 cups all fruit mincemeat - Borden’s Original is gluten free

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together flour and nuts.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter until soft.
  3. Add powdered sugar and beat until fluffy.
  4. Add flour/walnut mixture and combine well.
  5. Press 2/3 of the flour mixture onto the bottom of an ungreased 13- x 9- x 2-inch pan. Reserve remaining flour mixture.
  6. Spread the mincemeat on top.
  7. Sprinkle remaining flour mixture on top.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  9. Cool before cutting into squares.
