Chocolate Walnut Crumb Bars

1 cup softened butter
2 cups Bette Hagman's flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts

Beat butter in large bowl until creamy. Beat in flour, sugar, salt, and xanthan gum until crumbly. Press 2 cups of mixture onto bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan using floured hands. Reserve the rest. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Warm 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk in microwave until chips are melted, stir in vanilla until smooth. Pour over hot crust. Stir in walnuts and remaining chips into reserved mixture and sprinkle over chocolate filling. Bake 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan on wire rack.
